Dr. Chandrakant Sachidanand Madgaonkar is a renowned family doctor based at Hubli, in North Karnataka and is going into his fourth decade of medical practice with the same verve and enthusiasm as when he began. An Alumnus of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, he had his early schooling in Hubli and Mumbai.
A topper throughout his academic career and winner of many awards, he is the first doctor to obtain FCGP certification in the region. He has been a medical consultant to Indian Railway hospitals. He is on the medical panel of major corporate houses.
Apart from giving lectures and presentations on many present day life-style disorders, he is also an avid gardening enthusiast, especially in Bonsai culture – about which he has given lecture-demonstrations on many platforms.
He lives in Hubli with his anesthesiologist wife, Prof. Vidya Madgaonkar– an academic in her own right. He has the love and support of his mother, sisters, and son, Varun Madgaonkar, an aspiring professional.
